Danbee Chon is an assistant professor of Management at the Muma College of Business. She teaches graduate courses on social and emotional intelligence, organizational behavior and leadership, and organizational change. Her research investigates the role of self-awareness and authenticity in shaping leader behavior, interpersonal perception, and prosocial outcomes in organizations.
Her research has been published in leading academic journals, including Academy of Management Journal and Academy of Management Annals. As a member of the Academy of Management and International Association for Conflict Management, she has presented her research across national and international audiences.
Chon received her PhD in Management and Organizations from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Northwestern University. Prior to joining USF, Chon completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Organizational Behavior at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
