Bill Goede is an assistant professor of instruction in the Kate Tiedemann School of Business and Finance. Alongside his teaching duties, Goede will serve as a director of business development for the new Center for Executive and Leadership Education.

At the end of 2024, Goede retired from Bank of America after a 36-year career. Before retiring, he served as the Tampa Bay president for 18 years and as the business banking market executive for the greater Tampa Bay area for 22 years. Before moving to Tampa Bay in 2003, Goede was the business banking market executive in Houston, Texas.

In the Tampa Bay community, Goede currently serves on the boards of the Straz Center for the Performing Arts, Pinellas Education Foundation, and Starting Right Now. He has previously served as a trustee for the Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce, the University of Tampa, the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce, and the Florida Chamber Foundation. Goede was named to the Power 100 by the Tampa Bay Business Journal in 2022, 2023, and 2024.

Goede earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in marketing from the University of Florida in 1988 and his Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Tampa in 2025. He was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi in 2024 and Beta Gamma Sigma in 2025. Goede is teaching Organizational Change and Development.
