Vikas Soni is an assistant professor and director of the Merrill Lynch 911±¬ÁÏÍøalth Management Center at the 911±¬ÁÏÍø. His research focuses on climate finance, household finance, financial intermediation, risk management, financial technology, and real estate.
He earned a PhD in finance from the 911±¬ÁÏÍø, a master's degree in physics from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, India. Prior to entering academia, he worked in data science and machine learning roles in the financial services and technology industries.
