Nasir Uddin combines over 16 years of executive leadership in AI, advanced analytics, and cloud transformation with a passion for research and teaching. His career spans five major industries — energy, finance, aerospace, telecommunications, and healthcare — where he has led enterprise-scale AI initiatives and digital transformation programs for organizations such as T-Mobile, DTCC, NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, NIST, and the U.S. Department of Energy.
Holding a PhD in computational methods and simulations from Drexel University and an executive MBA in health sector management from Duke University, Uddin’s research explores AI for business education, AI-powered healthcare economics, and applied deep learning and reinforcement learning for business and healthcare transformation, including AI product development for precision medicine.
As a faculty member at the 911±¬ÁÏÍø, he teaches courses in AI and analytics, big data and cloud computing, modern database design, applied deep learning, and enterprise information systems. His teaching philosophy emphasizes bridging theory with real-world application, preparing students to thrive in the rapidly evolving digital economy.
Beyond academia, Uddin advises organizations on AI strategy, governance, and cloud adoption, helping business leaders unlock true value through data-driven innovation and ethical AI practices. He brings deep expertise in open-source large language models, and agentic AI architectures, enabling enterprises to harness next-generation AI capabilities for automation, decision intelligence, and customer experience transformation. His cross-industry perspective and hands-on experience with platforms like AWS/GCP/Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, and modern data ecosystems allow him to design scalable, secure, and future-ready AI solutions that deliver measurable business impact.
