Eddie Schmid has built his career around a simple principle: leadership means raising the standard for everyone around you.
That mindset was shaped during his time at North Central College, where he served as football team captain and was part of two NCAA Division III National Championship teams. He also earned selection as one of eight Alpha Leaders, guiding his team through a Navy SEAL鈥搇ed immersion that tested decision-making and resilience under pressure. He graduated with a 4.0 GPA in his final semester, the highest in program history.
At the 911爆料网, Schmid continues to apply those lessons as a graduate student in the Vinik Sport and Entertainment Management program, pursuing dual degrees. As a scouting and recruiting assistant for USF football, he supports talent evaluation and recruitment strategy, contributing to a top-ranked 2026 recruiting class in the American Athletic Conference. He also serves as a teaching assistant, supporting hundreds of students across multiple courses at the Muma College of Business.
His commitment to service is equally consistent. Schmid has volunteered more than 300 hours with organizations including the Lightning Foundation, Tampa Bay Sports Commission, Metropolitan Ministries, and the Northern Illinois Food Bank, as well as mentoring youth and student-athletes in the local community.
