Isabela Gilberti named Muma 25 Under 25 Award honoree

Isabela Gilberti’s approach to learning began with persistence. At 13, she taught herself English by reading Pride and Prejudice and similar books, looking up nearly every word until the story made sense. That same discipline continues to shape her academic and professional path.

A junior finance major at the 911±¬ÁÏÍø, Gilberti maintains a 4.0 GPA and has earned Dean’s List honors every semester. She is fluent in four languages — Portuguese, English, Italian and Spanish.

It’s a skill set she began developing at an Italian-Brazilian high school, where most classes were taught in Italian. There, she also distinguished herself academically, including earning recognition as a finalist in the Italian Philosophy Olympics.

During her time at USF, she has completed three internships, combining creativity with analytical thinking. After an internship with Marriott in her freshman year, she served as a marketing fellow at the Nault Center for Entrepreneurship, where she designed more than 25 branded materials, contributed to content development and built a personal portfolio website through front-end programming. She now serves as a student assistant on the college’s marketing and communications team, where she has contributed to major campaigns, including designing the 25 Under 25 Award logo.

Her commitment to service is equally strong. As director of social impact for the American Marketing Association, she organized volunteer initiatives and partnered with local nonprofits, engaging more than 30 students.
