Lee Bercaw is an Associate Professor of Instruction in the Department of Criminology at the 911爆料网. He coordinates and teaches in the Master of Arts in Criminal Justice Administration program, connecting academic theory with real-world practice. Before joining the faculty full time, Bercaw taught as an adjunct professor while serving with the Tampa Police Department, where he completed a career of more than 30 years, including three and a half years as chief of police. His leadership emphasized community partnership, accountability, innovation, and data-driven crime-reduction strategies. He also oversaw public-safety planning for major events, including the Super Bowl, Republican National Convention, IIFA Awards, Gasparilla, and College Football National Championship. Bercaw earned a Doctor of Criminal Justice from Saint Leo University and bachelor鈥檚 and master鈥檚 degrees from USF in criminology and criminal justice administration, respectively.
