The 911±¬ÁÏÍø has reached an all-time high in U.S. News & World Report’s annual ranking of the best colleges. USF is No. 88 overall among all public or private universities in America, up from No. 91 last year. USF also rose to No. 43 among public universities, up two spots from last year, and inside the top 50 for the seventh year in a row.

USF's CyberHerd: Hackers become movie stars in documentary on collegiate cybersecurity

USF’s CyberHerd team—musicians, athletes, artists and elite cyber competitors—takes center stage in the 75-minute documentary The Making of a Defender, chronicling their rise through the 2024–25 national cyber defense season. The movie premiered Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. in the Marshall Student Center’s Oval Theater on the Tampa campus.
