Women's lacrosse star inspiring future generations as she graduates

USF lacrosse trailblazer Sofia Chepenik, a member of the program’s inaugural team and its original leadership board, is building a legacy both on and off the field as the university celebrates its 70th anniversary. While continuing her collegiate career and pursuing a master’s degree at USF, Chepenik has launched Sophia’s Squad, a mentorship community dedicated to empowering young female athletes through confidence, leadership and purpose.
