FLORIDA CIVICS LITERACY EXAM (FCLE)
The FCLE is an untimed computer-based test that measures students’ civic literacy knowledge. 911±¬ÁÏÍø entering the 911±¬ÁÏÍø (USF) in Fall 2024 or later must take the Florida Civics Literacy Exam (FCLE), if students have not already met the requirement. The exam is administered in-person through USF Testing Services on the Tampa Campus.
Note: This is the only exam option for students entering Fall 2024 or later if students have not met the exam requirements through acceleration mechanisms.
Schedule
USF Testing Services offers the FCLE Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 8a.m.-5 p.m. Examinees should register at least one business day in advance.
Fees
The exam fee is $48.50. All fees are non-refundable.

Rescheduling
Appointments may be rescheduled up to one day in advance of your test date for an $18.50 fee. The reschedule fee must be paid online. Missed appointments will require full repayment of the exam fee.
Retest Policies
The FCLE may be retaken as needed.
