Join us for a thought-provoking conversation as Dr. Mohsen Milani will sit down with Dr. Murhaf Jouejati, a prolific author recently returned from Syria, to discuss the future of Syria after the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime. Together, they will explore the challenges and opportunities of a post-Assad era, and how Syria’s transformation could reshape the broader Middle East.

Murhaf Jouejati

About Dr. Murhaf Jouejati

Dr. Murhaf Jouejati is a leading specialist in Syrian and Middle Eastern politics. A prolific writer, he has taught at the Emirates Diplomatic Academy in Abu Dhabi, the National Defense University’s NESA Center for Strategic Studies, and George Washington University. He served as a Presidential Envoy to the Syria–Israel peace talks and previously advised the Syrian peace delegation. He holds a Ph.D. in International Relations from the University of Utah and is the founder of SyriaConsult.

ABOUT Dr. MOHSEN MILANI

Dr. Mohsen Milani is the executive director of the Center for Strategic & Diplomatic Studies. He was a research fellow at Harvard, Oxford and the Foscari University in Italy. He has been interviewed by over 150 national and international media outlets, reaching out to millions of people across the world. Since 2000, he has been invited to over 200 conferences in 27 countries.
