Paris has well earned its reputation as a thriving Arts capital and cultural icon during centuries. From its extraordinary history to its exceptional roster of Artists, Designers, Museums, Fashion Designers, Musicians, Architects, and of course it’s Cuisine.

For first time students arriving to Paris, they immediately discover the exceptional quality of this city. Paris is a territory, it is a stage that feeds and protects the invention of its population.

An atelier is a creative space, dedicated to creation, existing as a solo space or as a community where all the magic happens, where individuals can explore their thinking, their culture, their identities, and bring their ideas to life.

In this course we will take a live look at Paris through the lens of art, design and art history.

Our daily visits will include but are not limited to The Manufacture de Sevres, The Musée d’Orsay, CLUNY, Pompidou, Contemporary Art Institutions and Galleries.

As we make our way through these spaces, we will learn active ways of journaling through serendipitous ways of recording experiences visually and verbally.
