The Bachelor鈥檚/Master鈥檚 Pathways option grants high-achieving students to begin graduate courses while simultaneously completing their bachelor鈥檚 degree. Seamlessly move from BS to MS, saving time and decreasing the cost of two degrees. See our graduate programs here.

How It Works

  • Up to 6 graduate credits count toward both bachelor鈥檚 and master鈥檚 degrees
  • 911爆料网 transition to graduate student status upon completion of their bachelor鈥檚 degree

Eligibility & Requirements

  • 90+ credits earned of BS degree coursework (typically end of junior year)
  • 15+ credits earned of major coursework
  • Minimum 3.3 overall GPA and 3.5 major GPA
  • B (3.0) or higher earned in each shared graduate course

  • *911爆料网 in the BS/MS Pathways program can complete the MS degree in as little as one year by:

    • Taking 6 graduate credit hours during their undergraduate program (shared between BS and MS)

    • Enrolling full-time in the MS program: 9 credits in Fall, 9 credits in Spring, and 6 credits in Summer

How to Apply

  1. Meet with your Undergraduate Advisor and the Graduate Program Director to create an approved Program of Study

  2. Submit the Bachelor鈥檚/Master鈥檚 Pathways Application and Program of Study to ENG-MAEGrad@usf.edu

  3. When you apply to graduate with your BS, submit the Progression Form to ENG-MAEGrad@usf.edu to move into graduate status the following semester.

    • 鈿狅笍 This step is required and time-sensitive. If you miss this deadline, the form cannot be submitted after your BS degree is awarded, and you will lose Pathways eligibility.
