Hannah Harrison

I attend the College of Coastal Georgia, and I am an environmental science major with concentrations in marine science and sustainability, policy, and management. I love hiking, going to the beach, snorkeling — anything outdoors! I'm also really into yoga and going to the gym.

I have very broad career interests, but I would like to stick in the marine science discipline. Maybe something with marine natural resources where I can blend my passions for research, policy, and conservation! I chose to attend the USF Making Waves REU because of the variety of project possibilities, USF's reputation as a research institution, and the interdisciplinary nature of the program. Not many places focus on science communication and outreach in their programs! I also love the Tampa Bay and St. Petersburg area; it is so beautiful and diverse!
