Julia Kiplinger

I attend the University of Portland where I study ecology, evolution, and conservation biology with a minor in psychology. My hobbies include art, trying new restaurants, and hiking. 

I would like to research animal behavior in general and climate change impacts on animal behavior. I would like to contribute to the conservation of biodiversity and learn new things about the natural world! I chose to attend USF Making Waves because I am excited to learn many new skills, both in the lab and field, and work on an important research project. I want to gain experience with new research methods and push myself to do things that I haven't done before, and I think that USF will be an amazing place to do that!
