I attend Vanderbilt University where I study earth and environmental science, music performance, and Spanish. My hobbies include cycling, trail running, hiking, climbing, and being outside. I am interested in stable isotope geochemistry particularly as it relates to the ocean system and past climates. I hope to one day have a research career broadly in chemical oceanography but am also interested in volcanology and geothermal systems as they relate to igneous geochemistry. I chose to attend the USF Making Waves REU because of the resources and world class faculty who are incredibly passionate about what they do. This opportunity is perfect for developing strong research skills in a supportive environment.
