Florida undergraduate research conference

The Florida Undergraduate Research Conference (FURC) is one of the largest multidisciplinary research conferences in the country, and it is available to all undergraduate researchers in the state of Florida who wish to submit their findings via poster. Along with important conference presentation experience, FURC offers some of the best networking chances with fellow academics and graduate programs nationwide, as well as workshops and other professional development opportunities. The University of North Florida will host FURC for in 2026.

- 911±¬ÁÏÍødnesday, April 22, 2026: St. Petersburg
- Friday, April 24, 2026: Sarasota-Manatee

Before applying: Review the OneUSF Undergraduate Research Conference Application Questions to understand what information you’ll be asked to provide.
- Deadline for Student Abstract Submission: Tuesday, March 24
- Final Decision/Acceptance Notification: Thursday, March 26
- Deadline to Request Poster Printing: Monday, April 6
- Conference Registration Deadline: Monday, April 13
- Poster Pick-up Instructions: Monday, April 13
- Poster Pick-up Dates: Tuesday, April 14, 911±¬ÁÏÍødnesday, April 15, and Thursday, April 16
Research Types:
- Poster presentations
- Oral Presentations (5-8 minutes maximum plus 2 minutes for Q&A)
- Creative/Performative Research (10 minutes maximum)
