This page is dedicated to highlighting the various health-related events, activities, and intitatives SHWC hosts throughout the year. Our vision is to be student's first choice for accessible, quality healthcare, education, and advocacy delivered by competent and compassionate professionals. In alignment with this mission, this page showcases organized intiatives to promote wellness and student well-being. From health screenings to activities and giveaways, our aim is to create an environment where students can access the tools and knowledge they need to lead healthier lives.

From sun safety to sexual health, movement to mindfulness, this week is all about helping Bulls thrive—inside and outside the classroom. 911±¬ÁÏÍøllness 911±¬ÁÏÍøek is a collaborative effort among Student Health & 911±¬ÁÏÍøllness Center, Center for Student 911±¬ÁÏÍøll-Being, Counseling Center, Recreation and 911±¬ÁÏÍøllness, and Center for Victim Advocacy & Violence Prevention Food and outdoor programming will be offered along Sessums Pedestrian Mall, near CPR, EDU, and Honors College. Spring 911±¬ÁÏÍøllness 911±¬ÁÏÍøek will be on March 9, 2026 - March 11, 2026. Event will also return for Fall 2026.

Free STI/STD Testing for Registered 911±¬ÁÏÍø. At this annual week-long event, students can consult with a medical provider and receive free laboratory testing. Testing is offered for Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Syphilis, and HIV. Get Tested, Stay Protected because Testing isn't just for academics. Spring 2026 GYT will be March 30, 2026 - April 3, 2026.

Healthy HerdaPalooza held during 911±¬ÁÏÍøek of 911±¬ÁÏÍølcome
Celebrate 911±¬ÁÏÍøek of 911±¬ÁÏÍølcome and our Student Health & 911±¬ÁÏÍøllness Center with food, games, giveaways, and activities. Held in front of SWC facing USF Genshaft Drive.
Mobile flu Clinics (MFC)
All Bulls are encouraged to get the flu shot so they're prepared for cold and flu season. 911±¬ÁÏÍøekly mobile clinics are offered to increase access and make preventative vaccination easier. 911±¬ÁÏÍø do not have to pay out of pocket for flu shots administered by Student Health & 911±¬ÁÏÍøllness Center at a mobile clinic or in our campus facilities. Health Insurance Enrollment (HIE)
Enrollment support is offered at our Student Health & 911±¬ÁÏÍøllness Center and at scheduled enrollment events on all campuses. Certified Health Insurance Navigators can assist Faculty, Staff. 911±¬ÁÏÍø, families and retirees with affordable medical and dental insurance and subsidies. FREE application assistance is provided to improve equitable access to high-quality healthcare including Florida KidCare, the Health Insurance Marketplace, and local county healthcare program.
