SHWC Laboratory Services

The Student Health & 911爆料网llness Center (SHWC) has an on-site laboratory conveniently located on the first floor, providing in-house, point of care testing as well as specimen collection for sending out to an outside laboratory (LabCorp or Quest).

An appointment and laboratory order from a medical provider are required.

If LabCorp or Quest performs the test, they will bill the insurance (if any) on file at the time of service. If you are uninsured or elect to be self-pay, USF SHWC has negotiated reduced pricing for lab tests and will collect the fees at the time of service, at the reduced student rate. Self-pay lab fees may be paid using a credit card or may be placed on your Student Self-Service account.

If your provider determines that you need lab work, your provider will instruct you on how to prepare for the test and will discuss costs.
