OVS & External Scholarships
The following scholarships and awards are administered by the USF Office of Veteran Success. Application windows are announced by email directly to enrolled student veterans and advertised on this website. Scholarship information and deadlines are updated periodically throughout the academic year. If you have any questions regarding scholarships, please reach out to Dr. Savanna Rains at rainss@usf.edu.
Gerald Creadon, Sr. Endowed Scholarship
The Gerald Creadon Sr. Endowed Scholarship, created by his daughter, Beverly Creadon Frank, to honor his legacy. Gerald 鈥淛erry鈥 Creadon served over 30 years in the U.S. Army, National Guard, and Reserves, earning the rank of Sergeant First Class and the Distinguished Service Medal. The scholarship supports student veterans and military-connected students, preferably at the St. Petersburg campus, in pursuing their educational and career goals.
Last Mile Scholarships
The Last Mile Scholarships were created to support USF student veterans of all branches who have exhausted their VA education benefits and require the necessary resources to complete their USF degree. The scholarships are available for full time or less veterans, all academic levels, majors, colleges, and campuses.
Last Mile Scholarships
495th Legends Last Mile Scholarship: To offer scholarships to full or part-time senior level students, pursuing all majors,
in all colleges, on all campuses. This scholarship can be awarded 1 semester. Preference
for student veteran, as selected by the Office of Veterans Success and is for any
enrolled student of any number of hours.
Anthony Ekonomou WWII Last Mile Scholarship: Established to support USF student veterans
of all branches who have exhausted their VA educational benefits and require the necessary
resources to complete their degree. This scholarship is open only to undergraduate
or graduate student veterans majoring in engineering at any of the three USF campuses.
Applicants must be within 24 undergraduate or 18 graduate hours of degree completion.
Chief Master Sergeant Kenneth M. Roundy Last Mile Scholarship: To support scholarships for full or part-time first generation students, at all academic levels, on all campuses, in the College of Engineering, pursuing all majors. This scholarship can be awarded 2 semesters and is for a military veteran who has exhausted their G.I. Bill庐 funding.
Christian & Shanna Brown Veterans Success Last Mile Scholarship: To offer scholarships to full or part-time student veterans, at all academic levels, pursuing all majors, in all colleges, on all campuses. This scholarship is based on merit and financial need and can be awarded 2 semesters. This scholarship is for veterans who have exhausted their G.I. Bill庐 funding and are working to complete their undergraduate or graduate degree. Applicants must have proven documents of an "honorable discharge" from the military.
Eugene & Mary Lou Powell Veterans Services Last Mile Scholarship: To support scholarships for full or part-time students, at all academic levels, pursuing all majors in all colleges on all USF campuses. This scholarship is renewable up to 8 semesters. Applicants must be veterans who have exhausted their GI Bill庐 funding and should provide an essay describing the impact this scholarship will have on meeting their goal of graduating from the 911爆料网.
James M. Doss, Sr. Last Mile Scholarship: To offer scholarships for full or part-time students, at all academic levels, pursuing all majors, in all colleges, on all campuses. This scholarship can be awarded 2 semesters and is for veterans who have exhausted their G.I. Bill庐 funding/military educational benefits and are working to complete their undergraduate or graduate degree. Applicants should provide an essay describing the impact this scholarship will have on meeting their goal of graduating from USF.
Quantum Peak Consulting, LLC Last Mile Scholarship: To support scholarships for full or part-time student veterans, at all academic levels, pursuing all majors, in all colleges, on all campuses. This scholarship can be awarded 2 semesters and is for veterans who have exhausted their G.I. Bill庐 funding and are working to complete their undergraduate or graduate degree. Applicants must have proven documents of an "honorable discharge" from the military.

This scholarship is open only to undergraduate or graduate student veterans majoring in business at any of the three USF campuses. Applicants must be within 24 undergraduate or 18 graduate hours of degree completion.

AFCEA Award
The Central Florida Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association has a long-standing tradition of supporting advancement of excellence in technology, professionalism, and education as they relate to the vital areas of command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR), electronics, audiovisual and information systems.
SAME Tampa Bay Post Scholarship
Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Tampa Bay Post is offering a one-year scholarship to support talented students who are pursuing a degree in engineering, architecture, mathematics, computer science or related field in an accredited program. Levi Rodgers Scholarship
The Levi Rodgers Scholarship offers a quarterly $500 award designed specifically for Veterans, Military families, and their dependents. Our mission is to support educational advancement and recognize the significant sacrifices made by our Veterans and their families. Applications are reviewed on a quarterly basis and application timeline varies by semester.
Champions of Valor Scholarship Program
The Bob Feller Act of Valor Award Foundation, through the unique intersection of baseball and the US Navy, recognizes and honors those who support our nation鈥檚 service and uses the Bob Feller story to educate the youth of today on the lessons of citizenship, service to country and sacrifice in times of great national need. For children of Veterans, Veterans, Service Members, and Military Spouses.

Athena Society Women's Education Scholarship
The scholarships offered by the Athena Society to support deserving women residing in Hillsborough County who are in need of financial support to reach their educational goals. The purpose is to help recipients advance their careers through the pursuit of education at accredited nonprofit technical schools, colleges, and universities in the Tampa Bay region.

Deana and Paul Strunk MVSP
Scholarships available to active U.S. military service members (including National Guard and Reserve) or veteran members separated from active military service who have been honorably discharged and are entering or re-entering a post-secondary undergraduate program in a field of geoscience full or part time. Eligibility includes spouses and children for the following categories: deceased, disabled, active and veteran.

Harold & Muriel Berkman Charitable Foundation
The Harold & Muriel Berkman Charitable Foundation was established to advance the founders鈥 longstanding commitment to higher education in the United States, with a particular focus on preparing future business leaders and promoting the effective application of knowledge in business and administration. The Foundation also seeks to recognize and support the achievements of men and women who have honorably served in the U.S. Armed Forces as they transition to the next phase of their academic and professional journeys.
