Sarasota Neighborhood

Overview

Sarasota is a city located south of Tampa on Florida鈥檚 Gulf Coast. Once part of the USF community*, Sarasota is home to USF鈥檚 Sarasota-Manatee campus serving over 2,000 students. In addition to beautiful beaches, the area holds a rich and historic history. As part of the African American Neighborhood Project, IBL continues to connect the community at large, and USF serves as a principal hub of information surrounding Black Life.
