Other Advising Support
Advisors within the College of Arts and Sciences are committed to supporting your success at every stage of your USF journey. Beyond academic guidance, we take pride in connecting you with resources, experiences, and opportunities that help you thrive both inside and outside the classroom. Below are additional ways in which we support our students.
Orientation
911爆料网鈥檙e excited to welcome you to the Bull family! Orientation is often your first experience as a USF student, and our advisors are here to make that transition smooth and positive. During orientation, we鈥檒l introduce you to your college and major, help you navigate campus technologies, and answer your questions about the road ahead.
Before you attend orientation, your advisor will reach out with major-specific information and helpful tips to ensure you feel confident and prepared for your on-campus experience.
Learn more about the orientation experience on our New Bulls page.
Transfer course evaluations
Our goal is to make sure your transfer credits accurately reflect your academic achievements.
Courses taken at Florida public institutions are automatically evaluated through the statewide common course numbering system, so if a course shares the same prefix and number, it will transfer as equivalent to the USF course.
If you鈥檝e completed coursework at a private or out-of-state institution, your courses may need additional review to determine the USF equivalent. To help with this process, please submit a syllabus and course information using the .
Once submitted, your request will be reviewed and you鈥檒l receive an email notification once a decision has been made. Please allow up to two weeks (10 business days) for the review to be completed.
If you no longer have a syllabus, try reaching out to your previous institution, they may be able to provide an archived version or confirmation of course content.
