Villae (Virtual Interaction and Live Learning Augmented Experience) is a prototype of serious game built around the Roman Villa del Casale of Piazza Armerina (Sicily). Villa del Casale 3D Mosaics

Villa del Casale 3D Mosaics is a digital humanities project designed to overcome the multimodal visualization issues posed by popular web viewers. As such, it aggregates a curated digital collections of 38 3D models of rooms with mosaics floors, mapping a visual dabatase with the master plan of the site to facilitate the user interaction.

Villa del Casale Metrology Toolbox

Developed in partnership with , the Villa del Casale Metrology Toolbox is a prototype based on the photogrammetry- and TLS-based 3D data produced by IDEx at the Roman Villa del Casale of Piazza Armerina (Sicilia) that allows to take in real time metrologically accurate linera and area measurements on high resolution renderings of the mosaic floor and anayze the digital elevation models of the single pavements.
