The Institute for Digital Exploration (IDEx) offers a comprehensive portfolio of digital heritage products designed to support research, education, and public engagement across museums, galleries, and historical sites. Drawing on advanced digital methodologies, IDEx produces immersive virtual tours that expand access to cultural spaces; high-resolution 3D digitization and the creation of curated digital collections of archaeological and historical objects; and expertly organized digital archives encompassing textual, figurative, and photographic materials. These resources are complemented by scholarly and public-facing 3D visualizations that facilitate interpretation, analysis, and storytelling, as well as 3D printing services that translate digital data into tangible tools for hands-on learning and outreach. Together, this integrated portfolio allows IDEx to transform cultural heritage assets into accessible, reusable, and impactful digital experiences for diverse audiences.
Building on this portfolio of digital products and services, the Institute for Digital Exploration (IDEx) operates without geographic constraints. While firmly rooted in Florida, our work extends well beyond the state, encompassing long-term and large-scale projects in Sicily, Malta, and across the Mediterranean, as well as initiatives throughout the United States, including Colorado, Virginia, Oklahoma, and New Jersey. This broad geographic reach reflects the flexibility and scalability of our methodologies, which can be tailored to different cultural contexts, institutional needs, and project sizes.
