7-Year B.S./Pharm.D. Program
The 7-Year B.S. to Pharm.D. program offers students admitted to the USF Judy Genshaft Honors College the opportunity to receive admission to USF Health's Taneja College of Pharmacy (TCOP) and complete a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) in just seven years, provided that the student continues to meet all the benchmarks of the program, including a successful interview with TCOP.
Participants will complete their bachelor’s degree during the first three years, followed by four years at TCOP to complete their doctorate. Traditionally, the undergraduate and pharmacy school path takes at least eight years, making this an accelerated track.
911±¬ÁÏÍø will spend the first three years as undergraduates at USF and in the Judy Genshaft Honors College and years 4-7 at the Taneja College of Pharmacy. A Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree is conferred upon successful completion of undergraduate requirements, typically after the fourth year. 911±¬ÁÏÍø in this program will major in Biomedical Sciences (BMS).
Judy Genshaft Honors College academic advisors will guide students in meeting Honors requirements and completing the undergraduate portion of the program. TCOP will oversee the four-year pharmacy curriculum.
