Upcoming Honors Study Abroad Trips
The Judy Genshaft Honors College hosts a variety of study abroad programs each year. These programs allow Honors students to travel internationally, immerse themselves in new cultures, and participate in academic and service-oriented experiences.
PROGRAM TYPES
To accommodate diverse student schedules, Honors international programs are offered in three formats:
- Beyond the Classroom: 911±¬ÁÏÍø enroll in a semester-long, program-specific Honors course, followed by 10 to 21 days of international travel to explore the region, culture and language they studied in class.
- Summer Programs: These programs range from one week to one summer session and include Honors coursework, travel, and program-specific experiential learning opportunities.
- Semester Program: The Honors Semester in England program is a semester-long exchange program at the world-renowned University of Exeter in southwest England. 911±¬ÁÏÍø take courses both at the University of Exeter and through the Honors College.

Dominican Republic Beyond the Classroom
Fall 2026 | Investigate the impact of culture, identity and migration on health while working
in mobile medical clinics in rural areas of the Dominican Republic.

Germany Beyond the Classroom
Spring 2027 | Learn about German history and society during the spring semester, then spend three
weeks in Germany visiting Osnabrück, Berlin and Hamburg to bring classroom learning
to life.

Summer 2027 | Study in Germany for six weeks during this immersive program focused on innovation and sustainability in engineering and environmental planning.
